 Three  members of the CVFD were recently awarded with the "Green Cross" award from the Hurst Company for using the Hurst tool during a successful extrication of a victim from an auto accident.
The members receiving the award were:
Fire Chief Brian Marling
Asst. Chief Ron Walker
Captain Kenny Riggs
This accident occurred on Green Valley Rd. near the intersection of US Rte. 250. The vehicle was found on its side with the driver trapped.
